To assist the head coach in all aspects of coaching the ice hockey team including assistance with the organization of practices, recruiting, individual player development, scouting reports, video analysis and other administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor degree required. Division 1 playing experience preferred. Job Specific Qualifications
1-2 years of coaching College Hockey preferred. Responsibilities
  • Development of student-athletes. Assist with planning, organizing and on-ice training of team practices and games. This includes practice plans and video analysis and the production of scouting reports.
  • Evaluate and recruit prospective student-athletes. Travel to recruiting events at the direction of the Head Coach and consistently correspond and initiate contact with prospective student-athletes throughout the year.
  • Organize away-from-home travel logistics including but not limited to: securing hotels, food, bus, airline and other team related logistics to ensure smooth travel.
  • Other duties as assigned.
