Description
Primary responsibilities include teaching AP Biology, Genetics, and Life Sciences courses, and the concurrent laboratory sessions at a level challenging for gifted students.
The Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics and Humanities is a residential school for academically gifted high school juniors and seniors from across the state of Indiana. Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Biology, Science Education, or related field; previous teaching experience at the secondary level or undergraduate collegiate level or equivalent experience.
Authorization to work in the US
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral degree from a regionally accredited college or university in Biology or related field; significant previous teaching experience at the secondary level or undergraduate collegiate level or equivalent experience.
