Essential Functions

This position is involved in many elements of communication and general operations for the Undergraduate Admissions Office. The Administrative Coordinator for Admissions will play an important role in coordinating both physical mailings and digital mailings to inquiries and applicants, while supporting both the visit team and the application processing team.



Description of Duties & Responsibilities

Data and CRM Operations (40%)
  • Completes decision entry, prospect entry, organization database updates, tasks in file processing, and credential checks.

  • Assists in training of staff in Slate, Colleague, and data entry.

  • Develops, runs, and troubleshoots complex processes, statistical reports, and statements via integrated data bases

Facilitate Communications (40% of the time)
  • Coordinates all mailings with printing and mailing houses.

  • Maintains and regularly updates inventory of admissions publications.

  • Maintains admissions correspondence. Generates all prospect and decision mailings to prospective students, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Other Operational Support (20%)
  • Cross trains in following areas: telephone, front desk coverage, mail processing, office email

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)

  • Three years of directly related job experience, including experience with data entry and integrated data bases or client records systems

  • Familiarity with modern office computers and systems, including facility with the Google suite, Word, Excel, and Adobe

  • Ability to clearly communicate instructions

  • Comfort with basic math

  • Ability to work under set deadlines in a fast-paced office



Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with admissions CRM systems, preferably Slate
Work Schedule:
  • Full time
  • 37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate:
  • LCCSSA Grade 14 / Step
  • $21.38 per hour
