Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for a Multimedia Design and Development Specialist in the Information Support department.

The candidate would be expected to: integrate and organize content for publishing into various web-based systems via the latest tools and technologies; convert edited and original content for web, broadcast, and other distribution methods; advise and consult with faculty and researchers in the design, development, and implementation of media solutions that support and promote teaching, learning, and research; independently develop appropriate and effective designs, concepts, templates, icons, and imaging that will be used to educate and engage higher education audiences.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree

Required Skills or Software:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately

Required Years of Experience: 2

Other Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree. Two years of equivalent professional experience demonstrating creativity and independence in project-based work.

Strong knowledge in graphic design and multimedia publishing tools, e.g., Creative Cloud or their equivalents. Proficiency with video editing tools such as Adobe Premier Pro and Apple Final Cut.

Proficiency with web design and development tools and current integrated technologies and frameworks that drive dynamic and responsive web sites. Must be capable of working in a Windows or Mac environment.
