Job Description:

The Marketing Department in the Dolan School of Business, Fairfield University invites applications for part-time faculty members to teach Messaging an Persuasion: Effective Business Communication in Fall 2022. This is an undergraduate course that covers topics related to effective communication in all areas of business. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of various business communication strategies, such as how to use the main forms of business messages (e.g., press releases, memos, social media), how to determine the appropriate tone and style for a message, and how to write a persuasive message and proposal, among others.

Responsibilities include:

Teaching one to two sections in Fall 2022. Teaching assignments require teaching face-to-face, either day or evening.

Qualifications:

Candidates, at minimum, must have an M.S. or M.B.A in business or related field from an accredited institution. Preference may be given to candidates who have completed or are in the process of completing a Ph.D. or D.B.A. in fields related to Business Communication. The Dolan School of Business follows the AACSB accreditation guidelines for faculty qualifications.
