To promote student success, teach courses, provide other programming, review student work, and offer individual counseling.

Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with the Director of Bar Preparation Programs, the Dean of Students, the Associate Dean for Digital Strategy, and the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs to assess and address the programming and individual support needs of part-time JD students, full-time JD students, and LLM students, from the period before matriculation to degree completion.

Provide individual counseling with respect to study strategies, curricular choices, and other issues related to academic success.

Provide academic support through individual meetings with students, review of student work, and programming. Programming may include workshops aimed at broad student populations as well as credit-bearing or non-credit-bearing courses designed to support at-risk students. Supervise teaching assistants and supervise or collaborate with others hired to provide more targeted forms of academic support.

Upon mutual agreement with the Dean, may teach 1L or upper-level courses in JD program or courses in the LLM or MLS programs on an on-load or overload basis, if appropriate.
