The Office of University Marketing is accepting applications for the Marketing Project Manager position. The candidate selected for this position will be responsible for the following:
  • Provide project management support across the marketing function, including but not limited to design, copywriting, content development, brand, SEO, communications, product, and other needs as warranted
  • Assign jobs as received and make appropriate adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and manage workloads.
  • Ensure production schedule allows for adequate time for proofing / production processes.
  • Manage project management web-based software and maintain deadlines for clients
  • Provide monthly reporting of department activities
  • Maximize tools, processes and procedures to streamline work orders, ensuring efficient and effective use of time.
  • Establish timelines and resource requirements, and financial estimates for projects.
  • Prepare files to get print ready" as needed."
  • Obtain estimates from vendors and approvals from multiple departments.
  • Work with leadership to set priorities and communicate those priorities across the department
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to manage planning, execution, and receiving of marketing programs, SWAG, signage, and other materials.
  • Supports various branding, advertising, and promotional activities.
  • Builds out project plans for team-wide transparency as well as high visibility across Marketing department
  • Conducts training on new procedures as required.
  • Contact clients of the department for relevant information and establish expectations
  • Maintain vendor records, relationships, and contacts
  • Train new users in Click-Up (Project Management Software)
  • Archive projects and quotes.
  • Maximize tools, processes and procedures to streamline work orders, ensuring efficient and effective use of time.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate, work independently and in teams, and be flexible within a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established and tight timelines
  • Excellent presentation and communications skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in spreadsheets and reporting
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a bonus
  • Knowledge of Click-Up, Pageproof, Teams, or related project management/ software required
  • Knowledge of Bud Processes and RFPs required
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or related field, required
  • 5-7 years supporting and leading multiple marketing projects to the finish line
