Job Title: Manager of Ticket Sales Hours Per Week:

Job Summary:

The Manager of Ticket Sales will manage the day-to-day sales for all five ticketed sports and partnership events, on and off campus.

Position will oversee the long and short-term goals and objectives and strategies for season ticket sales; suite/hospitality sales; group sales and assist with, but not limited to ticket operations. The Manager of Tickets Sales will work closely with the units of Athletic Communications and Marketing, Athletic Ticket Office and the Miami Athletic Fund.

This position specifically supports the mission of the University and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics by assisting in institutional compliance with NCAA and Conference rules and regulations.

Duties/Physical Demands:

• Develop strategic and creative solutions for ticket office and staff to increase ticket revenue. Includes data analytics and creative timely reporting.
• Develop, manage and execute a multi-year ticket sales campaign, with a primary focus on Football, Hockey and Men’s Basketball season tickets, mini plans, suites/hospitality, group and individual game sales to maximize customer relations and revenue
• Develop concepts for season ticket retention, which results in a dual plan for renewing tickets along with creating new business
• Maximize creative marketing efforts with existing and potential new season ticket holder (i.e. include, but not limited to, social media, emails, texting technology, web ads, corporate strategies, and sales campaigns)
• Maintain knowledge of Paciolan and Sales Force for ticket sales efforts. Liaison between Miami Athletics and Paciolan ticketing software.
• Oversee all facets of daily sales while ensuring compliance with the University, Mid-American Conference, NCAA rules and regulations, as well as state, federal laws, policies, and regulations
• Perform general administrative tasks and other duties as assigned
Some nights and weekends will be required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 3 years of experience that is directly related to the specified duties and responsibilities. Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with a diverse population consisting of alumni and donors; athletic constituents; faculty and staff; and administrators.
