Overview: Quinnipiac University invites applications for a Director of Men's Basketball Operations to assist the Head Men's Basketball Coach in the administrative efforts of running a Division I Men’s Basketball program. Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to the highest standards of academic integrity and work in compliance with all University, NCAA and MAAC Conference rules and regulations
  • Work directly with the Head Men's Basketball coach in an administrative support capacity
  • Oversee all team travel arrangements including hotels, meals, and transportation
  • Coordinate film exchange program and effectively operate video editing equipment
  • Manage daily activities of the Men's Basketball Program and develop practice schedules
  • Other duties as assigned
Education Requirements:
  • Master's degree required
  • Experience may substitute for some of the above education
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of successful collegiate experience, preferably at the Division I level, either in a player or coaching capacity
  • Administrative and program experience preferred
  • Experience in dealing with large volume travel practicies and policies preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Familiar with basic NCAA rules
  • A commitment to the academic success and graduation of student-athletes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in handling scouting/film software
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to travel
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and a commitment to diversity and inclusion
