Saint Francis University invites applications from qualified candidates for a full-time, tenure track faculty position to teach in the University’s Department of Franciscan Studies, Theology, and Applied Ethics. Full-time faculty responsibilities include undergraduate Philosophy and Applied Ethics courses. In addition, the incumbent will participate in the University’s General education program and Departmental service activities, advise students, and maintain scholarship. Preference will be given to candidates capable of also teaching Theology. Position starts August 2022.
Requirements include a Ph.D. in Philosophy or Ethics from an accredited institution, at least three years of in-person and online teaching, and commitment to teaching in a faith-based institution in the Catholic, Franciscan Tradition. Faculty rank contingent upon qualifications and teaching experience.
