The role of the Resident Director is to assist in creating and
maintaining a positive, student-centered community within the
residence halls. This includes the establishment of programs and
services which foster respect, dignity, collegiality and civility
among residential students, in unison with the ethics and spirit of
the university's mission. The Resident Director must possess the
ability to adapt and respond to changing needs of students and the
University.
