Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager of Organizational Effectiveness and Development ( OED ), the Learning and Development Analyst is responsible for researching, compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data related to training and professional development.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Performance Requirements*
  • Reports on employee learning initiatives as well as creates and maintains learning and Key Performance Indicator ( KPI ) reports
  • Documents and analyzes OED performance
  • Identifies achievement gaps to support OED programming
  • Conducts needs analysis to support solution recommendations
  • Performs post-training evaluation and analysis
  • Maintains reporting databases for key learning metrics in addition to managing reporting and analytics capabilities for OED
  • Collects and analyzes data for various learning reports
  • Assembles analytics into appropriate formats including designing and developing graphs, tables, and charts to provide insight into key learning data points
  • Designs, develops, and maintains learning and development dashboards
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement in reporting, processes and/or training content
Service Excellence
  • Participates on behalf of the College in external community organizations and associations
  • Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
  • Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through the Tarrant County College ( TCC ) Institute
  • Supports the values of the College: diversity, teaching excellence, student success, innovation, and creativity and service to the College
  • Supports the mission, values and 3 goals and 8 principles of the College
Supervision
Works under the general supervision of the Manager of Organizational Excellence and Development

Required Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Two (2) years’ experience directly related to Essential Performance Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in data analysis, report building, research or similar work
  • Experience with various learning assessment techniques
  • Experience with training or professional development
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal relationships with diverse populations, including strong listening, verbal, and written communication
  • Ability to effectively collect, organize, analyze, and assimilate data in addition to using statistical methods
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and a setting
  • Ability to think critically to effectively solve and communicate problems in a fast-paced environment where the demands for work are varied, and unpredictable in scope and volume
  • Ability to analyze data and provide sound recommendations based on policy, procedure, practice, and existing regulations while exhibiting strong attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to use computer applications and enterprise systems, including SQL and relational databases as well as proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
