The Department of Counselor, Leadership, and Special Education at Auburn University at Montgomery ( AUM ) invites applications for an adjunct faculty position. Our Department offers graduate programs of study with concentrations in both Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. AUM seeks an Adjunct Instructor capable of teaching content based classes and/or clinical courses. Experience teaching online as well as traditional classroom courses is preferred. Master’s degree or EdS (Ph.D. preferred) in Counselor Education (preferred), Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy is required. All instructors are expected to be excellent teachers, responsive to changing professional needs, committed to innovative delivery of instruction resulting in improved student learning, and committed to effective use of technology. In order to teach online, the Adjunct Instructor will be required to complete AUM’s Blackboard training and be certified to teach online.
