Job Summary: The Assessment Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation and analysis of education assessment, accountability and/or evaluation data, systems, programs or processes. Duties & Essential Job Functions: 1. Updates and maintains assessment tracking for curricular courses to educational programs.
2. Trains faculty, staff, and students how to implement curricular assessment tools using online delivery technologies.
3. Collaborates in problem solving for future assessment and evaluation needs.
4. Coordinates assessment and evaluation-related projects.
5. Collaborates with other faculty and staff to maintain partnerships within the unit.
6. Organizes assessment and evaluation events (e.g. trainings, feedback sessions, meetings).
7. Produces ad-hoc reports upon request.
8. Documents system tasks related to assessment and evaluation functions.
9. Participates in analyzing existing processes and systems for possible improvements and in the recommendation of new or revised systems.
10. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Education & Experience : • Bachelor’s degree.
• 2 years’ experience in assessment. Preferred Education & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, education, business, psychology, computer science or related field.
• 2 years’ experience in a higher education or health-related field. Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training: • None. Preferred Licensure, Certification, and/or Specialized Training: • None. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Knowledge in Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge with using an online learning management system.
• Skill at analyzing and evaluating confidential data on an ongoing basis.
• Skill at communicating on a regular basis with all levels of administration, faculty, and staff to fulfill deadline-driven deliverables.
• Ability to maintain a vendor-based assessment and evaluation system.
• Ability to input and query data utilizing CMS/LMS applications. Physical Requirements (With or Without Accommodations): • Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms and other printed materials and information.
• Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication.
• Hearing ability for verbal communication/conversation/responses via telephone, telephone systems, and face-to-face interactions.
• Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling and prolonged sitting.
• Lifting and moving objects and equipment up to 10 lbs. Work Environment: • Work is indoors and sedentary and is subject to schedule changes and/or variable work hours.
• This role is an on campus, in-person position.
