The Corporate Education Director at Pima Medical Institute directs, administers and develops all on-ground Education programs.

Essential Functions

  • Direct the activities of the Education Department staff.
  • Direct and administer education programs, curriculum, training, educational materials and teaching techniques.
  • Establish and evaluate educational goals for the organization.
  • Review and evaluate proposals for revisions of existing programs.
  • Review program assessment plans and advisory board minutes and provide program management guidance.
  • Partner with Regulatory Operations to review and revise academic catalog and policies.
  • Foster partnerships with businesses and high schools in order to provide educational opportunities to the community.
  • Evaluate students’ needs to ensure training and education goals are met by applying the use of current instructional methodologies.
  • Research and coordinate the development of curriculum for new academic programs appropriate to each discipline and program with the cooperation of regional directors of operations, campus directors, program directors, instructors, staff and advisory committee members at each campus.
  • Direct the regular review of curriculum and textbooks for each program.
  • Collaborate with the Regulatory Operations Department to ensure campus and program compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Negotiate, maintain and secure additional contracts for textbooks, online library assets, and electronic resources.
  • Facilitate and endorse articulation agreements with other post‐secondary institutions for transfer acceptance of Pima Medical Institute awarded credits.
  • Provide Faculty Coordinator and Program/Clinical Director hiring assistance, training and mentoring.
  • Foster collaborative relations between the Education and Online Education departments, campus staff and faculty.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in education, preferably in curricular design.
  • Eight (8) years of experience in the management of education programs including the development and delivery of on‐ground programs.
  • Teaching and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with software programs such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Professional, PageMaker and/or Publisher preferred.
  • Any equivalent combination of training, education or experience that meets the minimum qualifications
