Job Summary: The Rochester Educational Opportunity Center (REOC), part of SUNY Brockport, invites applications for a Healthcare Lecturer position. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.
  • Current New York State RN license.
  • Demonstrated experience in acute medical surgical nursing and long-term care.
  • Demonstrated experience working with an economically and culturally diverse population.
  • Demonstrated strength in training/teaching and classroom management.
  • Competent in the use of MS Office Word and Outlook.
  • Willingness to complete professional development to stay current in role.
    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.
  • Experience teaching practical nursing.
  • Experience teaching adult learners.
  • Experience in use of learning management software.
    Work Schedule: M-F Salary and Benefits: Min Salary is$52,842. May be benefits eligible; more information at Careers@Brockport. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
