POSITION AVAILABLE: Music faculty position beginning August 2022.  Applications will be accepted until the position is filled and will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

SALARY/RANK: Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience. 

QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrated excellence as a music instructor and director of band and other instrumental groups; exceptional ability to recruit and motivate students, a collaborative spirit, digital music programming experience, and expertise in developing and maintaining music curriculum for existing and emerging degree paths in music. PhD or EdD in music preferred. May consider different areas of music specialties. The candidate must be committed both personally and professionally to the mission and purpose of Christian higher education.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will teach twelve credit hours per semester in music; directing the band and other instrumental groups; directing the music program; managing part-time instructors; recruiting students. Background and curricular needs will dictate which courses will be scheduled.  In addition, the individual will be expected to perform normal teaching duties at the college level including advising at the undergraduate level; developing, reviewing and revising curriculum; participating in service to the University and to the department, the discipline and the local community.
