MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCEPTANCE OF AN
A bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university
preferably with a major in emergency management, business
administration, public administration, or related field. Four years
of additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the

A Certificate in Emergency Management, or its equivalent, issued
by the Emergency Management Institute, International Association of
