Senior Lecturer in
Mathematics for Vanderbilt University (Nashville, TN)
The Department of
Mathematics invites applicants for a non-tenure-track Senior
Lecturer in Mathematics. Position will perform departmental
administrative duties as needed and will teach a broad range of
courses at all levels of instruction in the Department and
Stevenson Center. They will provide substantial contributions to
undergraduate program development and aspire to contribute to
collaborative research and teaching initiatives within and beyond
the Department. Position will participate in and lead
extra-curricular activities, as well as advise undergraduate
students.
The position is
responsible for teaching three courses per semester, including but
not limited to the following: MATH 1300: Accelerated
Single-Variable Calculus I; MATH 2810: Probability and Statistics
for Engineering; and MATH 2400: Differential Equations with Linear
Algebra.
