Job Description

Reporting to the AVP of Enrollment Management/Director of University Scholarships and Financial Aid (USFA), the Associate Director for Compliance, Reporting, Training, and Project management will provide vision and leadership for compliance, reporting, training, and project management in University Scholarships and Financial Aid. This position will manage the development and deployment of annual and just-in-time training; ensure USFA maintains its compliance with Title IV, state, and all other applicable laws, regulations, and institutional policies; and, set the priority and lead USFA’s new process development—specifically operationalizing opportunities for processing improvements and efficiencies. Additionally, this person will facilitate and conduct federal reporting (e.g. the FISAP), all State Reporting, and institutional financial aid reporting. Supervising at least one full-time position, this position serves as a member of the USFA leadership team, conducts outreach, advises students and families, as needed, and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and training/experience equating to an advanced degree or Master's degree in related field.
• Experience leading and conducting operations and business processes reviews and developing process evaluation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal Title IV financial aid programs and previous financial aid administration experience.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret complex federal statutes and regulations. Strong command of COD, CPS, NSLDS, and financial aid processing systems. Ability to make independent decisions and exercise sound judgment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to effectively work with and communicate with a wide range of diverse constituents.
• Excellent time management skills and the experience managing multiple competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field and comprehensive progressive experience working with Federal Student Aid and Scholarship programs.
• Experience supervising and managing people and projects.

Commensurate with experience within a budget max salary range of $85,000 to $93,000
