The College of Business and Economics (CBE) at Western Washington University invites applications for a part-time, non-tenure track position as the Professional and Career Readiness Director with an anticipated start date of August 2022.

The primary purpose of this position is to lead the development and creation of programming for the new Professional Career Readiness (PCR) program, beginning fall of 2022, within the CBE. This position will be responsible for building a program that provides opportunities for students to participate in professional and career readiness activities to support future career development. Responsibilities will include teaching a series of PCR courses throughout the academic year and developing programmatic activities that support the requirements of these courses. Successful applicants should be able to facilitate both the administrative and teaching responsibilities associated with this role; as well as a willingness to be flexible as the program launches and takes shape over the year and in subsequent years.

Duties include a combination of instructional, administrative, and programming responsibilities that will vary based on the time of the year, student enrollment, and programmatic needs. This position will work closely and receive ongoing support from the PCR Faculty Advisory Committee, Department Chair and Administrative Services Manager.
