Position Summary/Purpose:
The College of Arts and Sciences at North Park University seeks applications for multiple Adjunct Faculty in the Division of Sciences for the fall of 2022.
The successful adjunct candidate will be committed to teaching in a multicultural environment and welcome the opportunity to work with students with diverse learning abilities. Adjunct Faculty instructors are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom and laboratory settings. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluations, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of a master’s degree in a field related to the discipline being taught, or a master’s degree plus 18 semester hours of graduate-level credit in the discipline being taught.
- Discipline-specific teaching experience at the College level is desirable.
Course Needs:
- Biology: BIOL 1250 Introduction to Human Anatomy
- Chemistry: CHEM 1021 Survey of Organic Chemistry
- Chemistry: CHEM 1031 Survey of Biochemistry
- Math: STAT 1490 Introductory Statistics
- Math: MATH 1510 Calculus
- Math: MATH 1010 Intermediate Algebra
- Math: MATH 1150 Pre-Calculus Mathematics
