The Project Portfolio Management Office in the Academic and Student Affairs - Innovation and Technology is looking for a Business Analyst to work within the scope of assigned projects to engage with diverse groups of project stakeholders, subject matter experts, and process users to identify, define, and document business needs to find solutions, make process and technology improvements, and enact organizational change to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Business Analyst will proactively work with College leaders, partners, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation to enhance organizational agility at PCC. To be considered, your application must demonstrate these minimum qualifications. (Experience is calculated based on the start and end dates you provide multiplied by the number of hours per week worked).
Work environment includes frequent disruptions and changes in priorities. Work is generally performed in an office environment with frequent interruptions and irregularities in the work schedule. No special coordination beyond that used for normal mobility and handling of everyday objects and materials is needed to perform the job satisfactorily.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE

- Experience in business analysis and related tools; conducting
business workflow/process analysis, current and future needs
assessments, return on investments, and/or other business analysis
methods.
- Experience participating in organizational change to promote
diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Experience with business process
management/improvement.
- Experience developing process models, specifications, diagrams,
charts, and reports to clarify business processes, identify issues,
and provide direction to stakeholders and/or the project
team.
- Experience verifying and validating requirements for
completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, value,
and conformity to standards.
- Experience capturing and effectively communicating change
requests, enhancements, and process modifications, so that issues
and solutions are resolved satisfactorily.
- Experience working with diverse technical and non-technical
stakeholders, such as facilitating and leading interviews, focus
groups, and meetings.

- Associate’s degree in Business, Management, Information Technology or related field.
- Four years (4) progressively responsible in business analysis
experience including identifying opportunities to improve
processes.
- OR six (6) years progressively responsible business analysis experience including identifying opportunities to improve processes.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE
- Experience working in higher education.
- Experience working in a complex technical
environment.
- Experience participating in technical projects such as new
systems implementations or migrations.
- Experience communicating and collaborating with technical and non-technical users.
- Experience in using Lean management, continuous improvements, etc.
- Data analytics tools such as Tableau, Cognos, Excel, Argos, Google Data Studio, or Power BI
- Enterprise applications such as CRM, ERP, and databases
- Learning management systems such as D2L, Canvas, Blackboard
- Project management tools such as Monday.com, Smartsheet, Asana
- IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional; Project Management Institute - Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK); or some form of Business Analysis certification.
