Job/Department Summary:

Working independently under general supervision this position provides administrative and clerical support for the Intern Student Service Professional II (SSP II) and Credential Analyst in the School of Education. Additionally, responsibilities include monitoring and evaluating student records, assisting with program development and processes, project coordination, implementation, execution, and follow-up. Incumbent serves as a resource for the Intern program and credentialing processes, and regularly works with local employers, school district staff, faculty, and students.

Mandatory Vaccinations:

The CSU requires faculty, staff, and students who are accessing campus facilities to be fully immunized against COVID-19 or have received a medical or religious exemption. Selected candidates should be prepared to comply with this requirement.

Preferences:

Preference may be given to applicants with the following as they may be considered specialized skills:
  • Bilingual
  • Experience recruiting diverse groups.
  • Experience working with faculty advisors.
  • Possess a valid California Driver’s License.
  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Fluent written and verbal multi-lingual/bilingual skills.
Required Education and Experience:

This position requires a fully functional knowledge of and skill in standard office procedures and practices, as well as an ability to understand and operate in a variety of organizational structures. These qualifications, and those listed above, would normally be obtained through completion of a high school program, technical/vocational program, or their equivalents combined with three years of related office work experience.

Time Base: Full-time


Pay Plan: 12/12

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm, Summer - Mon-Thurs 7:00-5:30.

Salary and Benefits Information:

$3,276 - $5,148 per month / $39,312 - $61,776 annually (New employees should anticipate being hired at the beginning of the salary range)
