Student Recruiter (Student Services Professional 1 - MR0 7 )
Department of Computer Science and Engineering

The Student Recruiter will recruit students in the BAS-ITCyS program and will report to Head of Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Science. The person in this position will perform several tasks, including creating a recruitment strategy, creating and distributing program recruitment material, working with local industry partners and community colleges to recruit students and prepare student recruitment and retention reports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Student Recruiter will utilize a variety of recruitment strategies, engage, market, and enroll a sufficient number of participants to meet target goals for program success.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Knowledge in creating a recruitment strategy and distributing program recruitment material
- Skills in working with local industry partners and community colleges to recruit students
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Ability to prepare student recruitment and retention reports
- Knowledge of career services best practices
- Skills in recruiting students at the university level
- Ability to assist in the accomplishment of University, College, and departmental goals and strategic plans

Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience .
Preferred Qualifications: Strong experience in recruiting students at the university level.
