- Designs and executes
strategy
- Coordinates activities with India-based GKII program staff
- Collaborates with the Faculty Steering Committee
- Works with Faculty Steering Committee on goals for strategies, products, events and convening of relevant parties
- Prepares the Faculty Steering Committee to undertake a wide range of internal and external interactions with faculty, students, University Administration, Trustees, donors and external stakeholders as needed
- Helps develop new ideas, programs, and other activities to support and expand the mission of GKII

Minimum Qualifications (Mandatory):

Bachelor’s Degree in
related field
7 years work experience in
leadership and management role, preferably in related fields such
as healthcare or public health, politics, NGO,
fundraising, or academics
Demonstrated India-related
work experience in senior positions of influence (five years
minimum)
Experience in
communications and program development
Recognized effective and
strong leadership and management skills and experience, managing a
team of staff and budgets to deliver against workplans (five years
minimum)

Advanced
degree
- Strong interpersonal skills - ability to develop relationships and to work well with others
- Capacity for navigating complex organizations
- Previous experience in developing and launching programs
- Strong verbal and written communications skills including effective presentation skills with ability to describe comples concepts in clear and concise ways
- Experience with marketing and communications
- Passion for scientific and health-related research
- Comfort with budgetary and financial planning
- Familiarity with university settings is preferred, particularly previous experience at JHU
- Proficiency in Hindi or other non-English Indian language preferred
