Essential Duties Summary
- Provide senior executive support to the Vice President of University Advancement.
- Research, or cause to have researched, data on potential individuals, corporations, and philanthropic donors identified by the President of the University, Vice President for University Advancement, Board members, staff and other volunteers, or by virtue of their gift history to like organizations or activities.
- Establish, develop, and implement comprehensive strategy to increase giving for all areas including annual giving, alumni giving, major and planned to give, capital campaigns and fundraising events.
- Work with campus partners to create plans for identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding donors and alumni.
- Support, analyze and implement development strategies at the direction of the Vice President, which will include working with staff and volunteers, task forces, and recommend programs which will enhance and advance the mission, goals, and objectives of the University.
- Prepare or cause to have prepared, content and materials need for approved fundraising campaigns, donor correspondence, gift recognition/acknowledgment materials, appeal letters etc. Keep up to date on current fundraising, marketing and communications programs, practices, and procedures being utilized in the not-for-profit sector.
- Work with the Foundation Board in analyzing the fundraising programs and planning for future activities. Performs other job-related duties as required.

Working/Environmental Conditions
