Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm
Location: Home office at Sylvania Campus, but travels throughout
the district as needed.
The Locksmith designs, implements and maintains a multilevel
complex access and security control system for use at all college
campuses and other buildings maintained by PCC. Installs, repairs
and maintains locks and keys. Hires and oversees contractors as
needed. Meets with Plant Services personnel, contractors and
architects to convey and exchange complex and technical
information. Incumbent is a key contributor with work results
impacting the accuracy, reliability and acceptability of further
results beyond the immediate work section. Responsible for
producing journey level work output on an independent basis subject
to supervisory direction and review.

- Experience with a master key system
- Experience working in a commercial setting
- Experience working on/repairing panic hardware

qualifications. (Experience is calculated based on the start and
end dates you provide multiplied by the number of hours per week
High school diploma or equivalent.
Five years of facilities maintenance, construction, or repair
experience in a commercial or industrial setting (two years of
or training, or an Associate's Degree, in the facilities
trades may substitute for two years of work experience).
Two years of experience as a Locksmith is required
Must have a valid driver's license for operation of a motor
in Oregon and possess an acceptable driving record. Some positions
require a Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) license from the
of Oregon or Commercial Driver's License, Class A, for operation
commercial motor vehicles in the State of Oregon within twelve
Forklift driver certification required within six months of
Starting Salary Expectations
The first two steps of the range are: $50,806 to $52,328 per
year. Higher salary placement may be available based on
qualifications, experience and internal equity.,,

$44984 to $72187 Annual Salary

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Work is performed both indoors and outdoors with exposure to
various weather conditions. May be exposed to potentially hazardous
conditions, noise and temperature extremes. Position involves
frequent bending, standing, kneeling, climbing ladders, reaching
below and above shoulders, and lifting objects weighing up to 50
lbs. while performing job duties. Wrist, hand and finger dexterity
is required to operate various equipment and materials
