Job Summary
Drexel University's Weight, Eating, and Lifestyle Science (WELL) Clinic (drexel.edu/Well Clinic) is hiring a Clinical Psychologist with specialization in evidence-based treatments for weight and eating disorders. The position includes providing evidence-based outpatient individual and family treatment and diagnostic evaluations to children, adolescents, adults and families. A portion of the caseload will sometimes include patients enrolled in NIH-funded clinical trials conducted by WELL Center faculty. In addition, the psychologist will provide training and supervision to trainee clinicians (e.g., clinical interns); participate in outreach programming to local area providers to improve awareness of eating and weight concerns and familiarity with WELL Clinic services; and engage in ongoing training to remain aware of current treatment trends and gain competency in specialized treatments that have proven efficacy
The WELL Clinic provides state-of-the-art, evidence-based outpatient treatment for eating disorders and related conditions to the Philadelphia region and beyond (via telemedicine). The WELL Clinic also serves as a top-notch training site for professionals, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students. Finally, the Clinic serves as the host of several NIH-funded eating disorder clinical trials run by researchers at the WELL Center.
