Job Overview
At the University of Cincinnati Online (UC Online), we deliver a world-class experience for students seeking online flexibility and University of Cincinnati quality. From inquiry to graduation, we push the boundaries of what is possible and drive innovation in online education at the University of Cincinnati.

 

The Business Data Analyst position will be responsible for working collaboratively within UC Online to identify data research needs, pulling the required data, and analyzing and reporting it out to various teams. This position will help adapt existing reports and create new reports as the business needs continue to evolve. Ideally, this person has experience with data lake usage, Tableau, SAS and/or Salesforce.

 

Recent graduate students eligible for OPT/CPT are encouraged to apply.

 

Essential Functions

 

  • Work directly with clients to identify business requirements.
  • Convert business requirements into developed reports.
  • Interpret results using a variety of statistical techniques
  • Rely on instruction and pre-established guidelines to perform functions of the job.

 

Required Education

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field.
  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

 

Required Experience

 

  • One (1) year of business and/or ERP related experience.
  • Basic knowledge of systems and database administration.

 

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

 

  • Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
