Mathematics Faculty

Waynesburg University is seeking candidates for a full-time, faculty position in Mathematics.  Position will begin August 2022. Salary and rank are commensurate with experience and qualifications.  The qualified candidate will have a PhD degree or an ABD equivalent in mathematics, applied mathematics, or statistics.  Previous experience teaching in a university/college setting is preferred.  The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent teaching abilities to instruct a broad spectrum of courses across the undergraduate mathematics curriculum, including both theoretical and applied courses.  The position is responsible for teaching courses in mathematics may include foundational courses, the calculus series, and advanced courses in mathematics and statistics.  The teaching requirements are 12 credits per semester.  The successful candidates for the position above must demonstrate a strong Christian faith, a commitment to the University’s Mission and a demonstrated commitment to that faith, through his/her professional responsibilities, relationships and the mentoring of students.
