Job Description:

The Dolan School of Business at Fairfield University invites applications for a position of Professor of the Practice in Business Ethics at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level in the Management Department, beginning fall 2022. This is a non-tenure track fixed term renewable position with a teaching load of four courses each semester. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in a field (i.e. philosophy, religious studies, and social sciences) that allows for a focus on ethics or a JD from an accredited law school. Candidates should have a primary focus on business ethics. Those individuals with experience of working with businesses on ethics issues are of particular interest. They will be required to demonstrate a facility in student academic advising. Additionally, applicants should have demonstrated experience in programmatic development. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching, with demonstrated experience and verified excellence.
