Classification Title: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor Job Description:

The University of Florida Division of Nephrology, Hypertension, and Renal Transplantation invites applications from board certified/board eligible nephrologists with expertise in transplantation who wish to join a thriving quaternary academic center at the level of Assistant, Associate, or full Professor. The position will involve both clinical and research activities and can be a tenure or non-tenure track (dependent on the applicant). The applicant will be expected to cover clinical service, teach fellows and if tenure track to develop a strong research program. For the clinical education side,  the applicant must have a strong interest in renal transplant and teaching. An active role with medical students, residents, and fellow education is anticipated. Start-up packages are available.

The clinical duties will include providing Renal Transplant care in the Outpatient and Inpatient setting. This position will cover inpatient service at UF Health in Gainesville, FL. Outpatient will include Gainesville, and Orlando.

If on the tenure track, research responsibilities include applying for funding, and carrying out and publishing research. Rank and Tenure status will be commensurate with qualifications.

Expected Salary:

Salary is negotiable, commensurate with education and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Board certified/board eligible and eligible for a Florida Medical License.
