Title: Temporary- Testing Assistant (Pool)

Position Summary: The purpose of this position is to provide part-time proctoring services in the college's Testing Center as directed by the Manager of Testing. This position monitors the progress and provides security for all tests administered online and in the Testing Center.

Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain test security to ensure confidentiality, integrity of test materials, and test procedures. Perform some light clerical work - answering telephone, copying, filing, etc. Lift and/or transport test materials to/from Testing Center. Follow written and oral directions from the Manager of Testing. Assist with checking-in and seating examinees. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Work Characteristics: Knowledge of current PC software applications. Interpersonal skills consistent with establishing and maintaining effective working relationships in the Testing Center and with examinees.

Pay Rate: 12.00 - 12.00 per hour

Work Hours: Part-time. Hours may vary depending on need. Must be available to work the Testing Center's operational hours, which may include occasional Saturdays and/or evenings, as needed.
