Carlow University seeks a full-time Faculty for the Physician Assistant Program. The position is responsible for fulfilling the mission of the University and the PA Program, based on providing high quality education to students enrolled in the Physician Assistant Program. This is a 12-month appointment.   Responsibilities include: -Provide instruction in areas of expertise. -Provide evaluation and assessment of student performance in all aspects of the Program.
-Provide academic advising/counseling including remediation plans when needed for students.
-Develop and maintain a research agenda per annual goals.
-Support research agenda of other faculty and students as needed.
-Actively participate in service to the PA Program including, but not limited to development and revision of mission statement of Program, recruiting and selecting applicants for admission to the Program, participating in the design, implementation, coordination and evaluation of the curriculum, as well as the evaluation of the Program and maintenance of Accreditation requirements for the Program.
-Actively participate in service to the College, University and community.
-Participate in Program, College and University committees as assigned.
-Membership and active involvement in professional organization(s)   We seek innovative leaders with the following qualifications: -Physician Assistant with current NCCPA certification, with minimum 5 years’ clinical experience.
-Doctoral Degree or currently work towards completion of degree preferred.
-Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written).
-High degree of organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
-Good problem-solving skills. Computer skills.
-Teaching experience including Simulation experience helpful.
