The successful candidate must demonstrate superior writing, editing, and communications skills, with a keen eye for detail, and will prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documentation and reports covering a variety of ST&E fields, and have the ability to collaborate well with other team members in research analysis and technical writing. They will also work on other related and often overlapping activities such as support for external review boards through technical writing and collaborations on research analysis. This includes research landscape analysis that searches, organizes, and communicates results from various forms of information (such as bibliometrics databases) to identify research trends, funding opportunities, R&D policy directions, and partnership opportunities.
