Suffolk University Law School in Boston invites applications for a position as a full-time Legal Practice Skills (LPS) Assistant Visiting Professor for the upcoming academic school year (2022-2023). The visitor will teach two sections of a first-year LPS course each semester and collaborate with other faculty teachings in the first-year program. One of the sections may be in the evening division. In addition to teaching, the visitor will maintain regular office hours, grade student assignments throughout the semester, hold individual conferences, and create assignments.Interested candidates must have a J.D. and be admitted to a bar. Previous teaching of legal writing is strongly preferred. A complete application is dueby February 22 (although applications will be considered on a rolling basis until the position is filled.) A complete application consists of a letter of interest detailing your desire and qualifications to teach LPS, a curriculum vitae, as well as a list of at least three professional references.
