An Associate Professor level Director of Writing Program assists the Dean, and serves in a leadership role by overseeing the management of the institution-wide writing program at Dine College. Duties include supervision, providing content expert recommendations to Dean, teaching 3 credit hours undergraduate writing courses per semester, establishing and assessing writing outcomes, and initiating faculty development programs to improve writing pedagogy for the English composition program.
Minimum Qualification: 7 years teaching experience in a College or University with documented Community Service and Publication. Excellence in teaching and proven documentation of exemplary professional accomplishments. Will not accept M.F.A. in Literary Arts need not apply.
Preferred Qualification: Ph.D. in English or Composition
