Job Summary

The Marketing Division in the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder seeks two non-tenure track Teaching Assistant Professors to teach undergraduate and masters level marketing courses beginning fall semester, 2022.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Both the 50% and 75% Appointment will support in the following responsibilities:
  • Teach a high-quality Principles of Marketing Course in a large section format (class sizes up to 250 students) as well as several of a variety of other courses such as the integrated BASE course, product strategy, promotion strategy, pricing and channel strategy, marketing research, and the senior marketing capstone course in a regular course format (class sizes up to 50).
What You Should Know

Both appointments are for one-year, and the contracts being offered are a 50% and 75% appointment. The anticipated start date is August 15th, 2022.

All University of Colorado Boulder employees are required to align with the campus COVID-19 vaccine requirement . New employees must provide proof of vaccination or receive a medical or religious exemption within 30 days of employment.

What We Can Offer

The salary for the 50% appointment is $48,000 annually.

The salary range for the 75% appointment is $72,000 annually.

What We Require
  • An advanced degree (e.g., Masters) in Marketing or a related area.
What You Will Need
  • A demonstrated strong commitment to Teaching Marketing.
  • Prior teaching success, collegiality and teamwork.
What We Would Like You To Have
  • A PhD in marketing or a related area is preferred.
  • Industry-related experience is a plus.
