The Agnes Scott College Department of Biology is seeking applications for several Visiting Assistant Professor positions to begin August 2022 with expertise in cellular biology, molecular biology, biostatistics, and/or anatomy & physiology. These positions are 12-month, one-year, renewable appointments with teaching responsibilities primarily in our postbaccalaureate-premedical and Masters in Medical Sciences programs. The teaching load consists of six courses per year with labs counting as ½ a course. Teaching in the summer semester is required. A PhD or equivalent terminal degree is required for a Visiting Assistant Professor position; MA, MS, and ABD candidates will be considered for appointment at the Visiting Instructor level. Evidence of excellence or promise of excellence in teaching at the college level is also required.
