This position will develop, manage, and influence content of
high-level recruitment content, engagement and reputation-building
messaging on behalf of the University. Working independently or in
collaboration with individuals responsible for content management
in colleges and functions, h/she will ensure that content adheres
to strategy and brand messaging. The Marketing Content Development
Coordinator will craft sound content strategy that reflects a
consistent style, voice, and tone, and is aligned with the
This position will work collaboratively with university leaders
(marketing and communications directors; deans; etc.) to design
content strategy and serve as a resource for other content creators
within the UToledo community.
This position requires broad knowledge and skills in content
development for all channels, including but not limited to print,
web, social media, and video, as well as knowledge of marketing,
brand, and project management.
• 2 Year Degree in in journalism, English, creative writing,
marketing, or related field required, Bachelor's degree

with an ability to understand customer needs, motivations and
