Job Summary and Description

Serves as the chief academic officer of the College and is responsible for overseeing the various academic units, while maintaining the academic excellence and integrity of the institution. The Vice President ensures that the College operates in accord with the policies of the Board of Trustees, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB), and its various
accrediting agencies.

Reports to the President of the College and collaborates closely with the Vice Chancellors

Education:

• Master’s degree. Doctorate preferred.

Experience:

• Five years of teaching and administrative experience in higher education.
  

Licenses and Certifications:

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver license. Must be insurable through the

organization’s insurers.
