Visiting Assistant Professor of Exercise Science
Department of Physical Education & Exercise Science

Applications are invited for a one-year, visiting position in the Department of Physical Education and Exercise Science. This full-time, nine-month position will begin on August 15, 2022. 

Faculty responsibilities: This position requires teaching a variety of undergraduate and graduate Exercise Science-related courses, which may include exercise physiology, clinical physiology, physiology of aging, exercise testing and prescription, principles of strength and conditioning, exercise science internship/practicums, and/or sports psychology, based on the academic background and experience of the candidate and departmental need.

Required: The successful candidate will have an earned doctorate at the time of appointment in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or a related area. Candidates who are ABD will also be considered.

Preferred: Teaching experience at the university level, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) certification. Some experience teaching online preferred.
