Purpose of Position
The Program Manager is charged with managing STEM programs and events in cooperation with broad array of stakeholders. They will be responsible for developing, planning, executing, and documenting (with assistance) many of CINSAM’s programs and events.

This will include major programs such as a STEM Conference for teachers, Science and Engineering Fair of Northern Kentucky, CINSAM’s summer camps and academies, Heather Bullen Summer Celebration of Student Research, STEM Days and others.

The Program Manager should have a demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures. As such, we request that applicants explain how they will help NKU better reach and serve diverse stakeholders in their cover letters.

Application review will begin immediately. Primary Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, execute, and document CINSAM events and programs, including Heather Bullen Summer Celebration of Student Research, STEM Conference, High School STEM Day, Elementary STEM Day, and the Science and Engineering Fair of Northern Kentucky.

Coordinate CINSAM summer camps, academies and workshops with program directors; refine logistics.

Work with STEM Communications Manager on marketing and communications regarding CINSAM programs, including direct contact with stakeholders (teachers, students, parents, NKU faculty and staff) and social media.

Maintain and communicate calendar of CINSAM events and programs.

Annual evaluation of programs for effectiveness and best practices resulting in continuous improvement of services and materials.

Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.

Experience with coordinating educational and/or professional development programs.

Familiarity with and/or ability to learn skills with Microsoft Access, Qualtrics, and other applicable software. Must have experience with MS Office software.

Excellent collaboration and organizational skills.

Flexibility and adaptability in execution of responsibilities as the university and community landscape changes.

Proactive in execution of their own duties and in managing groups of collaborators so as to help CINSAM keep up with the fast pace of activity in our programs.

Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
