Director for Student Pharmacist Practice

The Director for Student Pharmacist Practice has oversight for implementation of 30% of the Doctor of Pharmacy educational program. The responsibilities of this position include assisting in the accreditation efforts for The School, working with the health care community to develop partnerships and sites for faculty and student placements. The Director for Student Pharmacist Practice will participate in development and implementation of quality assurance. The incumbent has primary oversight for the student component of the program. The development of student practice courses, guidelines for professional behavior, implementation of a database management system, preceptor quality, student advising, and coordination of all related activities are the primary responsibility of the Director. This position, non-tenured and at the rank of clinical assistant professor, serves as a direct report to the Assistant Dean for Experiential Education of The School of Pharmacy.
