Assistant Professor - Child Life Program

Southeastern Louisiana University’s Department of Health and Human Sciences invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in the Child Life Program to begin Spring of 2023.  This position involves teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in child life, contributing to child life and human sciences curriculum development.  Other duties include student advising with emphasis on practicum and internship application preparation and participation in service activities for the Department, University, and Community.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Terminal degree in Child Life, Psychology, Human Development and Family Studies, or related field from an accredited university by hire date.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Teaching experience in both the classroom and online setting.
Certification as a Child Life Specialist through the Association of Child Life Professionals.
