Job Description

Primary responsibility for the Ticket Sales Service and Retention Associate will be generating revenue for Mizzou Athletics by proactively making outbound phone calls to prospective fans selling tickets to all 8 ticketed sports. Ticket packages include but not limited to full season, partial season, group tickets, and individual game tickets.

The Ticket Sales Service and Retention Associate should be self-motivated, demonstrate excellent customer service, professional phone etiquette, and the ability to build relationships with fans in their portfolio.

The Ticket Sales Service and Retention Associate will set up in person meetings, attend networking events, and work home games to promote Mizzou Athletics.

The Ticket Sales Service and Retention Associate will work with the Director of Ticket Sales, and be willing to work non-traditional hours including weekends, events, and game days.

Additional responsibilities will include organizing large scale events for football games that will require working closely with different Athletic
Department members. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.

Present creative sales ideas to sell tickets to existing ticket holders, businesses, and large-scale groups.

Strong verbal and written communication skills towards customers and colleagues.

Salary

Salary will be commensurate with education and experience

Salary Range: $15.29 - $26.11

GGS Grade: 7

Shift

Monday thru Friday - 8:00am - 5:00pm; nights and weekends as required

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
