Job Description

Role Summary

This position serves as the HR representative for divisions and departments of Business Operations & Strategic Initiatives, Campus Facilities, Planning, Design & Construction, Space Planning, Environmental Health and Safety, and MU Police Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and process HR transactions including hires, job changes, pay changes, earnings distribution changes, leaves of absence, separations, etc. ensuring accuracy and completeness before submitting for final processing.
  • Conduct Campus Facilities New Employee Orientation and new hire paperwork for full-time and part-time staff.
  • Manage eRecruit process, offers and offer letters, rejection letters, moving expense agreements, etc.
  • Assist with oversight of HR systems such as myPerformance.
  • Image all HR documents including uploading in eHRFile.
  • Assist with management of workers’ compensation and Return to Work Program.
  • Assist employees and managers with document preparation such as PCQ’s, resumes, online applications.
  • As with all positions, involvement with other duties and responsibilities may be expected in order to support the mission and purpose of the University of Missouri.
Salary

Salary Range: $19.47 - $27.38 per hour

GGS Grade: 9

7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Monday - Friday

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional HR Certification – either PHR, SHRM-CP, SCP or higher.
  • Familiarity with university systems and human resource policies or equivalent
