Adjunct Faculty-Nursing

Missoula College at the University of Montana in Missoula invites qualified individuals to apply for teaching and clinical positions within the Nursing Program . A Fall 2022 hire date is anticipated. Workload to be determined on education and subject matter expertise.

The successful candidates will either have the ability to effectively teach courses, or to work with students in clinical settings. The candidates must be able to work collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, and the external community, as well as contribute to the program, department, and Missoula College.

About Missoula College and UM

The mission of the Health Professions Department of the University of Montana seeks to prepare students to be health practitioners who are technically competent and who are effective in a variety of clinical, agency and community settings. The Health Professions Department offers five Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) Degrees, one Associate of Science (A.S.) Degree, and one certificate program with courses and learning experiences that contribute to understanding the health needs of individuals and society. Clinical affiliations and on-site experiences are essential elements of all programs; local communities, their agencies, and organizations are a valuable resource and provide cooperative learning experiences in health delivery systems.

Missoula College, the two-year unit of the University of Montana, provides outstanding occupational and technical education covering 40 programs. Areas of study include business and health care professions, applied computing and electronics, and energy and industrial technologies. An Associate of Arts general education program is also available to students desiring a transfer degree for a baccalaureate degree program. Most programs begin in the fall with some programs offering spring entry.
