Reporting to the SVP, Strategy &
Operations, the incumbent provides high-level administrative
support to facilitate coordinated, timely, and efficient office
operations. This individual is a liaison to, and regularly
interacts with, a variety of constituencies across and external to
The College. Provides direction to the planning and
centralized operational management of the Strategy and Operations
office and Centers of Excellence.
Position duties vary and are often
unstructured, requiring the ability to be self-directed, plan work
methods and organize necessary resources. Provides support services
necessary to accomplish the work of the Strategy, Operations, and
Centers of Excellence offices. Requires regular interaction
with other departments across The College, including the Executive
Leadership team and Center Executive Directors.
Essential Functions Provides business and administrative support to the Centers of Excellence and other Strategy and Operations areas of responsibility Maintains knowledge of Center initiatives and activities and provides coordinated support as required Assists with strategic and operational planning, meetings, events, and special projects as needed Works with internal and external teams and key stakeholders on special projects and initiatives Ensures efficient and effective communications and information transfer Serves as liaison between Strategy & Operations office and other College departments Supports communications for the office to the College, Board on a regular basis Maintains the priority project list and follows-up to ensure risks get addressed Light Project Management Review revenue and expense reports for the center and help manage department budgets, purchasing requests, payments, agreements, and some negotiations and contracting Coordinates schedules, meetings, logistics, and materials; and records minutes as requested Manages Strategy & Operations office and maintains SVP calendar Required Qualifications & Competencies Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 5-7 years of high-level administrative experience, or a combination of education and experience Proven experience supporting senior staff members Ability to manage projects, people, events, policies, and priorities Highly organized, conscientious, and efficient Ability to perform and prioritize tasks with good judgment and limited supervision Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Advanced organization and problem-solving ability Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products, PCs, and applicable software, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and database applications The American College of Financial Services is committed to applying financial education through teaching, research, and innovation in program delivery and design.
